We all know it and we all love it, and of course by now you probably already know I am talking about CSS and CSS3.

Actually, we should probably take a moment to thank CSS3 before going any further for speeding up the load times for all of your favorite sites.  They, if they know what they are doing, are more than likely using CSS3 in place of a ton of images to enhance user load times, which is pretty awesome.

It is a pretty accepted fact by now that we simply do not need images to do all the things we used to need them for.  With CSS3 gradients, transitions, and all the effects, it has really seemed to have taken a lot of the weight off the shoulders of our websites, because let’s be honest—images were surely weighing them down. Everybody loves WordPress. That’s a undisputable fact, and hey – WordPress very well deserves it. End users like it because WordPress provides them with an easy way to update their websites or blogs, while developers love WordPress for its flexibility and reliability.

Our today’s list of WordPress cheat sheets is actually meant for both global categories of WordPress users. End users will be able to find nice cheat sheets for SEO and content tuning, and WordPress developers can use all those neat cheat sheets for theme development, plugins API etc. Also, what makes today’s post really special is the fact that it contains only WordPress cheat sheets and nothing but them (because often on other design blogs authors present all kinds of related WordPress info in the cheat sheet posts which makes it harder for WP newbies to understand and figure out this whole thing). Next time you write an email subject line, think twice about the words you’re using.

Loading your message with words such as “confirm,” “join,” “press,” or “invite” is not a good idea if you want a response, says data from Baydin, the makers of email plugin Boomerang.

Baydin recently extracted data from five million emails its users handled — either using the company’s “email game” or scheduled for later via Boomerang. It found that some subject-line words, such as “apply” and “opportunity,” got more responses than words from the aforementioned list.
